Australia Model Code of Practice: How to Manage Work Health and Safety Risks 1.1d: 1.1 Workers and other people at the workplace take reasonable care and follow instructions

Workers must take reasonable care for their own health and safety and not harm others, follow reasonable instructions so far as they are able, cooperate with notified health and safety policies and procedures, and use or wear provided PPE as trained (WHS Act s 28). Other people at the workplace, such as visitors, must take reasonable care of themselves and others and follow the PCBU's reasonable instructions so far as they are able (s 29). One person can hold several duties, and several people can hold the same duty at once.
