Where the controls in a SWMS are revised, the SWMS must be reviewed and revised as necessary, in consultation with affected workers, contractors, subcontractors and their HSRs (r 302). After revision the PCBU should tell those involved about it and how to access it, give the principal contractor the revised copy for a construction project, tell those who must change a procedure in a way that lets them comply, and give workers the information and instruction to implement it.
