All-purpose allowances (the fork-lift driver and airport catering supervisory allowances) must be included in the rate for penalties, loadings and annual leave pay. The employer must pay the hourly fork-lift allowance (or the daily one for part-time and casual drivers employed before 23 January 2020 unless they elect the hourly one); the overtime meal allowance or a meal to full-time and part-time employees working more than 2 hours' overtime without notice the previous day, and the allowance where an employee who provided a meal is then not required for more than 2 hours' overtime; and the tool and equipment allowance to cooks and apprentice cooks who provide their own tools, plus reimbursement of other required tools and materials not supplied. Amounts are in clause 26 of the current award (consolidated to 1 July 2026, read 30 September 2026).
