The employer must pay adults at least the minimum weekly (full-time) or hourly (part-time) rate for their classification in Table 3, casino gaming employees under Table 4, Managerial staff (Hotels) at least the minimum annual salary in clause 18.2, juniors the age percentages in Tables 5 and 6, and apprentices under clause 19 (time-based or competency-based stages for cooking and other trades and the waiting trade, proficiency payments, and adult apprentice floors with rate protection for existing employees), all as in the current award (consolidated to 1 July 2026, read 30 September 2026). Supported wage employees are paid under Schedule E and trainees under Schedule E of the Miscellaneous Award 2020 as at 1 July 2026. Except for food and beverage attendant grades 2 and 3, an employee doing higher-classified duties for 2 hours or more on a day gets the higher rate for the whole day, otherwise for the time spent; lower duties may be required without loss of pay.
