Australia Food Standards Code Standard 3.2.3 Food Premises and Equipment cl3: Clause 3 General design and construction requirements

The design and construction of food premises are appropriate for the activities carried out there, give enough space for those activities and for the fixtures, fittings and equipment used, allow the premises to be effectively cleaned and, where needed, sanitised, and, as far as practicable, keep out dirt, dust, fumes, smoke and other contaminants, stop pests getting in and give pests nowhere to harbour.
