AS 4674-2004 Design, Construction and Fit-out of Food Premises 2.1.2: 2.1.2 Separation of areas

Food storage and preparation areas, and areas holding food packaging and preparation equipment, are designed and built to be physically separate from chemical storage, living and sleeping quarters, toilets and change rooms, garbage, recycling and compactor areas, areas where animals are allowed, and areas used for activities that could contaminate food or preparation surfaces (receiving soiled laundry, for example).
