In enclosed premises, windows keep pests out by being fixed shut and close fitting, fitted with mesh screens removable for cleaning, or protected by a permanent mesh screen cleanable in place. Doorways, serving hatches and other openings are closed off by tight solid doors that close themselves, by roller shutters or by another closure, or by close fitting self-closing mesh screen doors. Where only flying insects need to be kept out (so doors can stay open during trading), openings may instead use air curtains or plastic strip curtains that keep insects out effectively, a vestibule with self-closing doors, or seals on the bottom of doors or lower window sashes; these measures are not needed where a larger or attached structure such as a shopping centre, airport or office building already keeps pests out. Holes where pipes, drains, cables and ducts pass through walls, ceilings and roofs are sealed, filled and finished. Gaps between adjoining structures (such as cool room and building walls) and above equipment and structures such as cool rooms are either left open enough to inspect and clean, or closed off with sealant or boxing so pests have no way in.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
