Other than where clause 12 or another provision says otherwise, every condition of employment in the award applies to apprentices. In each enterprise, an apprentice's ordinary hours must not be more than those of the relevant tradesperson. Apprentices therefore receive the award's allowances, penalty and overtime rates, breaks and leave terms unless clause 12 or another clause provides differently.
