Australia Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Award 2020 (MA000025) 12.11: 12.11 Do not require under-18 apprentices to work overtime or shiftwork, and protect training attendance

An apprentice under 18 may work overtime or shiftwork only if they want to; the employer cannot require it. For any apprentice, other than in an emergency, the employer must not have them work overtime or shiftwork at times that would stop them attending training required by the apprenticeship contract or training agreement.
