Minors may not be employed in a trade within the award's classifications where the State apprenticeship authority has prescribed that classification as an apprenticeship trade. A minor may be engaged on a 3-month probationary apprenticeship, and if an apprenticeship follows, those 3 months count toward the apprenticeship term.
