AS 4674-2004 Design, Construction and Fit-out of Food Premises 3.1.4: 3.1.4 Floors in food storage areas

Floors of areas storing unpackaged food, including cool rooms, meet the food preparation floor requirements. Floors of rooms holding only hermetically sealed food, packaged dry goods, vegetables or equipment have a non-absorbent finish. Where floors are hosed or flushed with water, floor to wall and plinth junctions are coved as in Figure 3.1.
