A person must hold the relevant high risk work licence (Schedule 3 classes, such as scaffolding, rigging, dogging, crane and hoist operation, forklifts and boiler and turbine operation) before carrying out that work, subject to the exceptions for training under supervision and for the regulator's exemptions. The business may not have a worker do high risk work until it has sighted the worker's licence or evidence of enrolment in training and supervision. The Part sets the application, eligibility, assessment, renewal, amendment, suspension and cancellation process for licences and the accreditation of assessors, and registered training organisations must retain records.
