While work in a confined space, or work preparing for or finishing it, is going on, employers and self-employed persons must put up signs next to the space that identify it, tell employees not to enter without a confined space entry permit, and are clear and prominently placed beside every entry point. Penalty: 100 penalty units (natural person) or 500 (body corporate).
