Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r51-53: rr 51 to 53 Design, make and supply plant to minimise confined space entry

A designer (s 27) and a manufacturer (s 29) of plant that includes or will include a confined space must design or make it so that, as far as reasonably practicable, nobody needs to enter the space; where that is not reasonably practicable, the need to enter must be reduced as far as reasonably practicable and risks from the entry and exit arrangements eliminated, or if not reasonably practicable reduced, as far as reasonably practicable. A supplier (s 30) must ensure, as far as reasonably practicable, that such plant was designed and made this way before supplying it.
