Where an employee's regulation 37 audiometric tests (2 or more of them) taken within a period of no more than 2 years, show a hearing reduction of 15 decibels or more at 3000, 4000 or 6000 hertz, the employer must arrange an audiological examination for that employee as soon as reasonably possible (s 22(1)).
