Employees must not eat, drink, smoke or chew gum anywhere a lead process is carried on, and must not take food, drink, gum or smoking materials into such an area. An employee who has been in such an area must take off any lead-contaminated clothing and equipment they used before going into a designated eating and drinking area. After leaving such an area, an employee must wash hands and face before any eating, drinking or smoking. Each breach carries up to 100 penalty units.
