Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r202: r 202 Brief the examining doctor and obtain the required reports

For every medical examination required by Part 4.3, the employer must give the registered medical practitioner its own name and address, the examinee's name and birth date, the lead process involved and how long the person has been in it. It must ensure the doctor reports back when examinations were done and blood samples taken, the biological monitoring and other test results, and the pathology service used. It must also ensure the doctor provides any opinion on whether the person is medically suitable for lead-risk work, must not do it because lead absorption is excessive, is unfit for work because of signs or symptoms of clinical lead poisoning, is fit to return to it, or is fit to continue it. Maximum fine: 60 penalty units (individual) or 300 (body corporate), for each duty.
