An employer that identifies a lead process as reasonably likely to exceed the r 193 blood lead thresholds must tell the Authority in writing within 7 days of that identification, stating the type of lead process. It must keep a copy of the notice for as long as that lead process continues at the workplace, and for that same period make the copy readily accessible to their health and safety representative and to any employee with possible lead exposure. Maximum fine: 60 penalty units (individual) or 300 (body corporate), for each duty.
