Where protective or work clothing is reasonably likely to be contaminated with lead dust, the employer must arrange for it to be laundered or disposed of. It must make sure no one takes such clothing off the workplace other than to send it for disposal or to a commercial laundry, and that the clothing is bagged and labelled to show the contents may be contaminated. Maximum fine: 100 penalty units (individual) or 500 (body corporate), for each duty.
