A person who runs a training course or program in which participants carry out high risk work as part of the course must meet, for each participant, every obligation r 132 places on an employer toward a trainee: appropriate directions, demonstrations and monitoring; the ability to act immediately on a hazardous situation in an emergency; direct supervision at all times unless the three conditions for relaxing it are met; and a supervisor who is authorised to oversee the trainee and holds a current, valid licence for the relevant class of high risk work.
