Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s29-1-b: s 29(1)(b) Manufacturers: carry out necessary testing and examination

A manufacturer of plant or a substance for workplace use must carry out, or arrange, the testing and examination needed to meet its duty to manufacture the product to be safe (s 29(1)(a)). Maximum penalty: 1800 penalty units (individual) or 9000 penalty units (body corporate).
