Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s27-1-b: s 27(1)(b) Designers of plant: carry out necessary testing and examination

A designer of plant intended for workplace use must carry out, or arrange, whatever testing and examination is needed to meet the duty to design the plant to be safe (s 27(1)(a)). Maximum penalty: 1800 penalty units (individual) or 9000 penalty units (body corporate).
