Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s25-2: s 25(2) Employees: do not interfere with or misuse safety provisions

While at work, no employee may intentionally or recklessly misuse or interfere with anything supplied at the workplace for health, safety or welfare, such as guards, interlocks, fire equipment, PPE, first aid supplies or signage. Maximum penalty: 1800 penalty units. The offence is indictable (s 25(4)), though it may be heard and determined summarily.
