Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s25-1-b: s 25(1)(b) Employees: take reasonable care for others affected by their acts or omissions

While at work, an employee must take reasonable care for the safety and health of anyone who may be affected by what the employee does, or fails to do, at a workplace. Reasonable care is measured against the employee's knowledge of the circumstances (s 25(3)). Maximum penalty: 1800 penalty units; the offence is indictable but may be heard summarily.
