Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s153-1: s 153(1) Do not give false or misleading information

When complying or purporting to comply with the Act or regulations, a person must not provide information he or she knows to be materially false or misleading. This covers information given to inspectors, the Authority, HSRs and others under the Act. Maximum penalty: 240 penalty units for an individual, 1200 for a body corporate; indictable but may be heard summarily.
