Transient lodging (hotels, motels, inns, dormitories, shelters and the like) must supply mobility-feature guest rooms meeting 806.2 at the Table 224.2 counts (one of 1 to 25 rooms, four of 51 to 75, eight of 151 to 200, 2 percent plus 20 above 1,000, and so on), a share of them with roll-in showers, and communication-feature guest rooms meeting 806.3 at the Table 224.4 counts (two of 1 to 25 rooms, ten of 101 to 150, 20 plus 1 percent above 1,000), with no more than 10 percent of the mobility rooms doubling as communication rooms; both sets are dispersed across room classes (size, cost, amenities, bed count) and, in alterations and additions, the rooms being worked on are used to meet the counts as far as feasible. Beds in accessible rooms meet 806.2.3 and shelters may use the 224.1.2 clustering and dormitory allowances.
