Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006
Parts XII and XIII: Hazardous materials and chemical safety (sections 83 to 98) – Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006

Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006 91-92: Personal protective equipment and eye protection: where a process is likely to cause bodily injury that other means cannot prevent, suitable personal protective equipment and clothing for every worker at risk, supplied and maintained free of charge with instructions for use; goggles or effective screens for the Schedule 8 processes; and screening against electric arc flash for people other than the welders

What does 91-92 require?

Where a workplace process is likely to injure and other means cannot prevent the injury, each worker in that process who could be hurt is given suitable, appropriate protective equipment and clothing, which the employer supplies and maintains free of charge with instructions for its use. In the Schedule 8 processes, suitable goggles or effective screens protect the eyes of the workers engaged in them, and where electric welding exposes people other than the welders to the arc flash, effective screening or other provision prevents the exposure.
