Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006
Parts XII and XIII: Hazardous materials and chemical safety (sections 83 to 98) – Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006

Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006 89-90: Heavy loads and radiation: no worker required to lift, carry or move a load heavy enough to be likely to injure them; effective practicable measures to restrict exposure to ionising radiation, exposure to ionising radiation, lasers, ultraviolet, infrared and other electromagnetic radiation and to vibration including ultrasonic vibration kept to no more than reasonably necessary with everything practicable done to minimise it

What does 89-90 require?

No employee is made to lift, carry or shift a load so heavy it is likely to injure them. Effective measures, so far as practicable, restrict the extent to which workers are exposed to ionising radiation in their employment; no employee is exposed to ionising radiation, lasers, ultraviolet, infrared light or other electromagnetic radiation, or to vibration including ultrasonic vibration, beyond what the work reasonably needs, and everything practicable is done to minimise the exposure.
