Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006
Parts III to VI: General duties of employers, the self-employed, controllers of premises, manufacturers and suppliers, and workers (sections 13 to 39) – Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006

Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006 23-24: Duties to persons other than employees: employers and self-employed persons conduct undertakings so that people outside their employment who may be affected are not exposed to risks to health and safety, and employers active simultaneously at one workplace collaborate to comply with the prescribed measures without diluting each one's responsibility for its own workers

What does 23-24 require?

An employer conducts the undertaking so that, so far as reasonably practicable, anyone not in the employer's employment who may be affected by it is not exposed to risks to their health and safety. Where several employers carry on activities simultaneously at one workplace they collaborate to comply with the prescribed measures, each remaining responsible for its own workers. A self-employed person conducts the undertaking so that neither they nor anyone else who may be affected is exposed to such risks.
