No one requires or accepts a rental bond, or bond amounts in total, above the maximum rental bond: four weeks' rent for ordinary premises (two or three weeks for moveable dwelling premises), or where the lessor is the tenant's employer giving a rent subsidy, the greater of that amount and 400 dollars.
