The head also gives the QFCC an interim report or a final report within 30 business days of becoming aware, or a longer agreed period, unless there is a reasonable excuse (maximum 100 penalty units) (s 34(3)). An interim report sets out the facts and circumstances known, an update on action including risk management, and a copy of any written submissions the worker has made (s 35(2)).
