Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 s67U-67W: ss 67U, 67V and 67W Payment terms within 25 or 15 business days and the construction management warning

A term of a construction management trade contract or subcontract is void to the extent it allows payment of a progress payment later than 25 business days after the payment claim, and a term of a commercial building contract is void to the extent it allows payment later than 15 business days (business days exclude weekends, public holidays and 22 December to 10 January). The contracting party for a construction management trade contract commits an offence if the contract lacks the prescribed-form warning about the dangers of a construction management trade contract rather than a subcontract, initialled by the contracted party (80 penalty units).
