Prince Edward Island Occupational Health and Safety Act General Regulations P15: Access to workplaces: safe access and egress from each floor, marked emergency exits, access to every excavation, floor, platform and scaffold on construction sites, and overhead protection at entrances where material may fall

What does P15 require?

Every place where work is performed has a safe way in and out from each floor that suits the conditions of that work area, with emergency exits designed and marked for quick, unimpeded exit and the other provisions of section 15.1. On construction sites the access provided to each excavation, floor, platform and fixed scaffold at which work is done above or below ground meets section 15.2, and adequate overhead protection is provided wherever people enter or leave a building or structure and material could fall on a worker.
