PEGI - Pan European Game Information Age Rating System B: Annex B: PEGI Retail Code

Retailers in the EEA and Switzerland who sign the Retail Code use best efforts in face-to-face sales to: train relevant staff on the PEGI system and the Code; display PEGI signage where games are shown; treat age ratings as mandatory and take reasonable steps not to supply games to under-age buyers; review and improve internal ratings education and enforcement; show rating symbols, and descriptors where feasible, in all game advertising and promotion; where practical keep a record of refused sales; answer and record customer complaints about non-compliance and refer unresolved ones to the PEGI website; and share best practice. PEGI may give a failing retailer 30 days' notice to improve and then exclude it; retailers may leave by written notice.
