PEGI - Pan European Game Information Age Rating System 11: Article 11: Advertising and promotion

Promotional material follows the Labelling and Advertising Guidelines, including showing the age rating, and advertising design, broadcasting and targeting obey the law. Advertisements must reflect the game's nature, content and rating accurately without misleading about its true character; use the rating only to inform about age suitability; be made responsibly; avoid content likely to seriously or widely offend the average targeted consumer; not target games rated 16 or 18 at people for whom they are not suitable; ensure ancillary products sold or promoted with a game suit the game's intended audience; avoid cross-promotions of 16 or 18 rated games with brands, products or events likely to reach underage consumers; and include a general statement disclosing sponsorship and product placement, a brand used only for authenticity and without payment not counting as either.
