NSW Home Building Act 1989 s103EB: s 103EB Insurers and intermediaries must not misrepresent cover as compliant

An insurer or insurance intermediary (a person arranging insurance for reward or as an insurer's agent, a financial services licensee authorised to arrange insurance, or an authorised broker) must not represent, by advertisement or otherwise, that insurance meets the Act's requirements unless it does. Maximum penalty 200 penalty units.
