NFPA 70 National Electrical Code 2023 Article 700 Emergency Systems 700.4: 700.4 Capacity and load management

Equipment must be rated for the fault current that can flow at its terminals, and the system must have capacity worked out under Parts I to IV of Article 220 or another approved method, enough for rapid load changes and the transient demands of expected loads. The alternate source may also serve standby loads of both other kinds if it has capacity or load management (automatic selective pickup and shedding) protects emergency, then legally required, then optional circuits in that order (2026: 700.5, Article 220 renumbered 120).

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
