NASRHP Self-Regulating Health Profession Certifying Entity Membership Standards (Australia) S11: Standard 11: Provide a resumption of practice pathway with assessed support

A resumption of practice policy must apply when recency cannot be shown, using the same definition of practice and the same three-year maximum. It must set a robust pathway aligned with the CPD requirements, linked to the professional standards domains, varying with time out of practice and the individual, with a robust assessment on completion and clear guidance on support and who is responsible. Certification occurs only when all requirements are complete; during the pathway the entity must make sure the practitioner is not falsely identified as certified. Practitioners must evidence practice on request, declare recency at recertification, have CPD logs audited and be covered by the random annual audit.
