Metering and Consumption Rules v2.6 – NABERS - National Australian Built Environment Rating System

NABERS - National Australian Built Environment Rating System MC-8.3: Account for batch-delivered fuels and water and for EV charging

What does MC-8.3 require?

8.3 and 8.4: batch supplies are the deliveries in the rating period plus the change in tank contents, from supplier bills or a responsible person's written statement (tank capacity if neither exists), with tank usage from start and end readings over 365 days within 2 months of the period, else an end reading, else full capacity; LPG follows Table 5.2.3 instead. Batch recycled water is measured at delivery into the tank and water applied directly without storage cannot be estimated. EV charging may be excluded only through validated non-utility metering carrying no required end use, or third-party charger data giving the address, charger, session times and energy per session, calculated to the parent meter's billing period; otherwise it stays in the rating.
