Metering and Consumption Rules v2.6 – NABERS - National Australian Built Environment Rating System

NABERS - National Australian Built Environment Rating System MC-3.2: Apply the common data hierarchy and enter data exactly as sourced

What does MC-3.2 require?

1.2, 1.3, 3.2 and 3.3: every NABERS energy and water rating complies with the Metering and Consumption Rules and Rulings current on the day of lodgement (unless the National Administrator approves otherwise in writing or a Commitment Agreement fixes an earlier version). Acceptable data follows the same three-tier hierarchy as the building Rules (assessor-obtained, disinterested third party, interested party), estimates are capped at 5 % of the rating's emissions or water, alternative methods need prior approval, and data is entered into the rating input form as it appears at source, without rounding.
