Metering and Consumption Rules v2.6 – NABERS - National Australian Built Environment Rating System

NABERS - National Australian Built Environment Rating System MC-7.4: Correct or stop when validation finds a faulty meter

What does MC-7.4 require?

7.4: where a validation check fails, the assessor determines whether correct values can be calculated, not estimated. Any failed meter triggers validation of all never-validated meters so that correct data is collected for the next rating (the staged schedule no longer applies), a correction for each incorrect meter, and a ban on using a faulty meter for an exclusion. Corrections are made by qualified licensed persons and the error, the wrong records and the correction calculations are kept; absent other evidence the error applies to all the period's data. If values cannot be calculated, exclusion data may proceed only by not excluding and inclusion data only with a Chapter 8 estimate, otherwise the rating waits for a full period of accurate data.
