Minnesota Rules of the Board of Continuing Legal Education 12D-E: Leaving involuntary restricted status: 250 dollar fee, Director recommendation to the Court on catch-up hours or conditions

What does 12D-E require?

A lawyer placed on involuntary restricted status who wants to return to active status notifies the Director in writing and pays a 250 dollar fee. Unless the Court orders otherwise, the Director recommends transfer to the Court once the lawyer has completed the proportional catch-up hours or a lesser amount the Director accepts (at least 45 hours in the prior three years, at most 90 specified), or on conditions precedent or subsequent, applying the Rule 12C(2)(c) criteria; the lawyer may ask the Board to review the requirements. One on involuntary restricted status who instead wants to move to voluntary restricted status notifies the Director and pays 250 dollars.
