Within eight days of receiving the Article 19 (or earlier Article 18) document the consumer may withdraw or cancel in writing or by electronic record (period restarting after a corrective document where false statements or intimidation intervened); the seller may not claim damages, bears collection costs, may not charge for use or services, must refund promptly and restore altered property free; contrary terms are void. Excessive-quantity contracts may be cancelled within one year (Article 24-2).
