ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards RR22.II: RR Article 22, Section II: Control of interference to geostationary-satellite systems

What does RR22.II require?

Non-GSO systems may neither cause unacceptable interference to GSO FSS and BSS networks that work in line with the Regulations nor, unless the Regulations say otherwise, claim protection from them (22.2); GSO inter-satellite emissions toward deep space avoid pointing within 15 degrees of the geostationary orbit (22.3); specific pfd caps apply at the geostationary orbit for EESS and non-GSO FSS (22.4 to 22.5A); non-GSO FSS systems meet the epfd limits of Tables 22-1 to 22-3 at all points, which a country may waive for its territory (22.5C to 22.5F), compliance with which, plus the operational limits, fulfils No. 22.2 toward GSO networks (22.5I); operators apply Resolution 76 on aggregate epfd (22.5K) and, in 37.5-51.4 GHz, single-entry and aggregate degradation allowances to GSO reference links (22.5L, 22.5M).
