ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards RR21.I: RR Article 21, Section I: Choice of sites and frequencies

What does RR21.I require?

Sites and frequencies of terrestrial stations and earth stations in bands shared with equal rights between terrestrial and space services are chosen with regard to ITU-R Recommendations on geographical separation (21.1); as far as practicable, high-power fixed or mobile transmitters above the Table 21-1 e.i.r.p. values are sited so that their maximum radiation keeps at least the tabulated angle away from the geostationary orbit (21.2).
