ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards RES40: Resolution 40 (Rev.WRC-19): One space station bringing GSO assignments at different positions into use

What does RES40 require?

When reporting bringing into use or back into use of a GSO assignment, the notifying administration states whether the space station was used within the previous three years to bring into use or resume assignments at another orbital location, and if so gives the last location, the networks concerned and the date the station left it (resolves 1, 2); missing information is requested with a 30-day deadline and a 15-day reminder, after which the Bureau considers the assignments not brought into use (or back into use) and so informs the administration (resolves 3 to 5).
