ITAR - International Traffic in Arms Regulations 120.18: Manage the consequences of denial, revocation, suspension or amendment of authorisations

DDTC may deny, revoke, suspend or amend any licence, approval or exemption without prior notice where it is in the interests of world peace, national security or foreign policy, where a party has violated the AECA, the ITAR or a U.S. export authorisation, where an applicant or party is charged, convicted, debarred, ineligible or sanctioned, where required information or notices were not provided, or after an unfavourable end-use check (120.18(a)). Reconsideration may be requested in writing within 30 days of being told of an adverse decision, and applications denied for repeated failure to provide required information are normally not reconsidered for 30 days and then only with a letter explaining the corrective steps (120.18(c)-(d)).
