Italy Workers' Statute (Law 300/1970) Art. 28: Art. 28 Refrain from anti-union conduct and comply with court orders to stop it

Where the employer behaves so as to prevent or limit union freedom and activity or the right to strike, the local bodies of national unions concerned may apply to the labour court, which within two days, after hearing the parties, orders by an immediately enforceable decree the cessation of the conduct and the removal of its effects; opposition is possible within 15 days. An employer who does not comply with the decree or the judgment is punished under art. 650 of the Criminal Code and the conviction is published.
