Measures prevent contamination of food and food contact materials by chemicals such as cleaning agents, disinfectants, lubricants and pesticides. Chemicals used are approved by the competent authority where applicable, applied by competent people according to the product instructions (concentration, method), labelled, stored apart from food and food contact materials and kept in a locked or secured area. Pesticides are stored away from cleaning and disinfecting agents, and equipment for applying pesticides or non-food-grade lubricants is dedicated and labelled. If chemical contamination may have occurred, staff take corrections and corrective actions and communicate the event.
This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
