Planning how a quality management system built on the quality management principles will be established, implemented and maintained is a strategic process, and the project organization should carry out that planning. It has to cover the quality of products or services as well as of processes so that the project objectives are met. The general guidance of the principle sub-clauses (5.2.2 through 5.2.8) should be used as well for the processes of clauses 6.1 and 6.2, 7.2 through 7.8, and 8, on top of the specific guidance found there. Annex A gives an overview of the processes.
